Walking for Dogs Like Dave
This September, Dave and I will be taking part in PetRescue's Best Friends Walk.
Dave is a retired racing greyhound who was given a second chance through adoption and has become a much-loved member of our family. Sharing life with him has shown us just how special rescue dogs are and why organisations that help homeless pets find loving homes are so important.
Throughout September, we'll be exploring the footpaths, trails and countryside around our village of Pentyrch in South Wales, enjoying the walks together while raising funds for a cause we care deeply about.
Although Dave wasn't adopted through PetRescue, we love the work they do to help connect rescue pets with people looking to give them a forever home. Their platform helps thousands of homeless pets find families and gives rescue organisations the support they need to continue their vital work.
