Best Friends Walk 2025

I'm taking part in PetRescue’s Best Friends' Walk to help homeless pets find their best friend. 

When it launched in 2004, the PetRescue website was the first of its kind in Australia, and since then, it has been the connection for over 930,000 rescue pets and their new families. 

PetRescue’s adoption platform gives pets the best chance to find a home by bringing thousands of homeless pets face-to-face with tens of thousands of potential adopters every day. And the best part is, all PetRescue website services and adoption support programs are free and accessible to all rescue members and pet lovers alike.

Miss Trouble

Introducing Miss Frankenstein!!! Frankie for short, not even 6 months old yet, she's hands down the beT thing we did this year! Half bull terrier (you wouldn't be surprised if you know me) half staffy and of course yes she is a handful! But the smiles, wagie tale, the talking and just the general excitement she gives me when I walk on the front door fills my heart with joy and love for the little thing! She was from an accidental litter of 7, when we went to go meet her she was one of the few real bull terrier looking pups and she was so meek and mild but oh boy has that changed! She's not anywhere meek or mild these days she's a bundle of laughs and fin and just loves to be near us all the time!

Mr Obsidian

Our nearly 1 year old little black cat, a e picked him up from AAPS in Keysborough, I've been there a few times n ow and no matter whom I've met or spoken with there have been incredibly lovely and kind and helpful! Nothing was or has been to hard at all

Hi All, 

Hopefully you all still want to support me in raising funds for a charity, well actually best friends helps a whole heap of charities/animal rescues. I could not possibly try harder to sway uou away from  buying straight straight into a warm friendly hug that we have had the privilege of a few times now.
Our two littlest loves are from rescues, we got lucky  very lucky that the three of them get along so so well! They are the main reason I want to help out. Give back to the rescues that gave us Obsidian and Frankie, they do so much work for the wider communities and I believe they deserve so much more!!
