Best Friends Walk 2026

Why this challenge means so much to me

Hello friends! I'm taking part in PetRescue’s Best Friends Walk to help homeless pets find their best friend. 

My hooman and I have always tried to help those who needed it most and this month is extra important to us. Our kitty was found on the streets back in 2017 and  because of rescuers like PetRescue, she is now part of our family and our bestest friend ever. 

Our goal is to raise money to help creatures like her find the homes they deserve.

When it launched in 2004, the PetRescue website was the first of its kind in Australia, and since then, it has been the connection for over one million rescue pets and their new families. 

PetRescue’s adoption platform gives pets the best chance to find a home by bringing thousands of homeless pets face-to-face with tens of thousands of potential adopters every day. And the best part is, all PetRescue website services and adoption support programs are free and accessible to all rescue members and pet lovers alike.

Can’t believe how fast this month is going

End of week one!

Finally started catching up to my goal as the week ended as my hooman is getting better at walking again! Today we went to a wonderful beach house!

And so it begins!!!!!

September has come! Time to start walking! Thank you all for your support it means so much to my hooman and I!
