Walking for Pumpkin; Turning Loss into a Second Chance

Years ago, a tiny, one-month-old ginger kitten named Pumpkin was rescued from a rooftop and brought into my life. For a whole year, she filled our home with endless play, pure joy, and unforgettable morning nibbles. Though difficult circumstances meant we eventually had to find her a new home, she never left our hearts.

Tragically, Pumpkin recently passed away after a car accident.

I am taking part in PetRescue’s Best Friends' Walk to honor her memory. Pumpkin showed me how deeply a rescue pet can change your life. I’m fundraising to ensure other homeless pets get their second chance, and other families get to experience that unforgettable, life-changing love.
