Help homeless pets find their furever homes!

In 2017, our world was forever changed when we took a chance and adopted a dog through PetRescue’s website. We couldn’t help falling in love with a teeny Staffy pup named Arlo, who had an ever so big personality to contrast her size. Since the day we brought her home, our lives have been filled with endless amounts of love, fun and chaos as she has become an essential part of our family. 

Since rescuing Arlo, she has been there as we moved out and began living together, as well as years later when we began building our first home. She also was sure to be a big part of Jai proposing and us getting engaged, as well as then being a “Dog of Honour” and being the most beautifully behaved pup throughout our entire wedding. We know wholeheartedly that Arlo has made every step of the way that much sweeter, and we will forever be grateful to PetRescue for being the reason she has been with us through everything.

Aside from our beautiful Arlo, we have also had experience in the rescue animal world by previously rescuing our beautiful boy Kayde, as well as getting to meet any beautiful pups in need while donating, helping and volunteering when possible over the years. Rescue animals have become an essential part of our lives and we love that PetRescue makes helping these animals so much more accessible. 

When it launched in 2004, the PetRescue website was the first of its kind in Australia, and since then, it has been the connection for over 930,000 rescue pets and their new families. 

The best part is, all PetRescue website services and adoption support programs are free and accessible to all rescue members and pet lovers alike.
