Comet and I are taking part in PetRescue’s Best Friends' Walk to help homeless pets find their best friend.

🐾FACT - Comet and his siblings were all advertised on PetRescue back in early 2017.

I was not only their Foster Parent, but also the puppies' Case Manager and yes, I was a foster fail and ended up keeping the runt of the litter, Comet (born Dec 21 2016 and fostered through SAFE Hedland)

When it launched in 2004, the PetRescue website was the first of its kind in Australia, and since then, it has been the connection for over 930,000 rescue pets and their new families.

PetRescue’s adoption platform gives pets the best chance to find a home by bringing thousands of homeless pets face-to-face with tens of thousands of potential adopters every day. And the best part is, all PetRescue website services and adoption support programs are free and accessible to all rescue members and pet lovers alike.

We are soooo close to our little goal...

My almost 10Y Senior goodest boy Comet is starting to slow down!

Last September he needed TPLO surgery to stabilise his left knee joint after a major tear of his cranial cruciate ligament, which is the canine equivalent of the human ACL. Caused by simply jumping on my bed one night, something he had done hundreds, if not thousands of times before.

Combine those things with the cooler weather, things are now taking its toll on my little old dude!

Yet everyday, he insists on getting his super excited wiggly butt out and about, sniffing every little thing he can, while grazing on grass like he is part heffa! 🐶🌱🐮😂

Please help us reach our $250 goal.

I know its only a small amount, but it'd be so wonderful to be able to achieve something for pets that are still waiting for their forever homes.
